January 26, 201214 yr comment_34773 I am a bit impatient. I sanded the areas with the runs down to bare wood. I just applied a light coat of danish oil and I hope the color blends well. I hope this works... Adam Welker Red Car Construction and Fine Woodworking Adam Welker Red Car Construction and Fine Woodworking Report

January 26, 201214 yr Author comment_34778 Yes. The danish oil blended nicely. I will give it until tonight to set up then back to the topcoat. Just a bit more carefully this time. John Morris said:So how is it looking Adam? Is it blending ok? John MorrisThe Patriot Woodworker Report

January 27, 201214 yr Author comment_34776 Wow. I am thrilled with the way that the finish turned out. The Waterlox blended well and I just applied the final coat. I will post some pics Sun or Mon, depending on when I deliver the headboard. Thanks for the advice and thank you John for getting my pictures posted correctly.Adam WelkerRed Car Construction and Fine Woodworking Report
