SCAREY GRIZZLY TABLE SAW

Featured Replies

This afternoon drag out some 1/4 inch plwood to cut out bottom for drawer on new work bench.  The table saw was running so quietly when cutting I just had to turn if off and check the plywood to be sure it is being cut.  And sure enough it was.  The saw runs so much quiter than the Delta bench saw I'm going to have to be much more cautious in using this big boy.

Wayne, what your experiencing is the advantages of weight in a table saw. Less noise, less vibration and just an over all pleasant experience to use. I remember when you got that saw, how is it working out for you? Kind of cuts like butter don't it!

Wayne glad to see it is all good. Isn't it amazing how much quitter they run. Much less vibration also. Make sure you keep your eyes and ears attuned to what you are doing. We want you making things for a long time on it.

So is it playing well well with the other members of the shop? Grin.gif

It cut that 1/4 plywood like paper.  That ok.  Wait till I start with the 3/4 inch plywood in next day or so.  I'll be doing something I never could do with the old saw.  I'll post that when it a done deal.

The saw sort of playing well.  Just got to get some lose ends done in the shop to sort of move freely around it.  Need find space for storing the extra insert and mitre gauge.  Working on idea of another table with 4 drawers and use it as an out feed table.  Will post pictures hopefully next week.
