Some beautiful cutting boards

Featured Replies

I stumbled on a site while helping my daughter research her science experiment called F.Beck Wood Working.

He makes these cutting boards with inlaid turquoise and flakes. They are works of art. I could not use them for cutting, I would have to hang them on the wall!!! When I saw these I immediately thought of our own Gene Howe, he does the inlaid work like this, and just love it.

The link is F.Beck Woodworking. Check it out, it might give the cutting board guys here some new inspirations.

One of my favorites is below. It's an end grain butcher block cutting board, I love this one.

That is a real work of art, and I'm like you John, I wouldn't want to use it either.

Those are pretty impressive. I have seen the inlay stuff before, but never on a cutting board. Very nice stuff indeed.

I would think the inlay may be hard on your knives or even chip or crack during use.
