Handsaw rehab, part 2

 Got two saws completed tonight.     Sanded, drilled, shaped, sanded, notched,sanded, and bolted together.   Did I say sanded?    then brought them home for some stain.   A few pictures of this little project:ning-028-34356-27.jpg?width=750saw handle #2 ning-030-34356-66.jpg?width=750 Yep, it is a Stanley   ning-031-34356-21.jpg?width=750The two saws togetherning-034-34356-98.jpg?width=750after a coat of oil stain, Ipswich Pine.   Saws are still straight, and still sharp.   Total cost?    A few hours in the shop.    Some old Oak that was on hand, saw nuts from saws on hand.   The triple set was from that saw, just a new handle is all. Look any better?Grin.gif
