February 19, 201214 yr Sure felt good! I was actually in the shop all day yesterday and today. I was able to sand out the back portion of my chair. The rocker is really sand heavy in the finish process since the final finish is oil. The entire rocker must be smoother then a babies but, I sand through all the grits from 80 to 1000. The wood after final sanding has the appearance of being finished without any finish on it. The entire piece is burnished. Giving the rocker a glow or sheen.Tomorrow I get to glue the headrest and back braces in place, and Monday I should have the rockers glued up to the bottom. We are havin fun.John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops
