5X magnifier light

Featured Replies

I went to Rockler today and found this 5X magnifier LED light. It's perfect for me on my scroll saw. It has an outer rim that isn't nearly as big as the other magnifier lights that I've had in the past that kinda gets in the way. The rockler light has a magnetic base and also comes with a clamp on base as well for non steel surfaces. I also picked up the spot light attachment for it as well. The light is powered by a plug in power supply but can also be powered by battery which is included.

The light was $69.00 and the spot light attachment was $10.00 but I had a coupon so it was a little cheaper. I did look at the light that woodcraft sells but it had a larger outer rim on the magnifier and it didn't have the ability to change out the magnifier with a spotlight.

That's a neat looking light. Not as bulky as the one I use.

Mike, you'll get a lot of use out it I'm sure. Let us know how you like after you've used it a few times

I used it today to cut out another flag pattern and I noticed my lines are easier to follow because I see the blade more clearly and I didn't have the eye strain that I had before.
