February 26, 201214 yr Cut out the form. With a long drill and clamp at the ready you boil water and place one end of the wood into the boiling water for around 8 minutes or more. Remove the wood, clamp one end down far enough that you have a strait shot with the drill. Drill your holes then release the clamp. The wood relaxes and expands back in place. The one in the picture was made with popular. It will work with pine but it's pretty brittle. Ensure when you clamp it that you clamp strait.
