March 3, 201214 yr Since my bigger project today didn't work out I decided to take a break and do one of my favorite small projects a 3/8x 1/10" refrigerator magnet (the size of the magnet itself), in a Oak cover that otherwise would have been waste. It was part of a pen blank that was just a big knot, so I felt it best to cut it off or risk it popping out while trying to make a pen from it. Finished in CA which I will buff in the morning. looking a bit sloppy around the edge there but that wont be there after tomorrow. I'll create a small jam chuck for it and get it straight. The Whole thing is only 1 3/8"L x 7/8" at its widest point.
