I know I'll probably get my picture used as a some one's dart board (or worse)  but IMO Festertool is high end hobby stuff.

John, it was reported on another forum that saw cost 3,064.00. Makes Festool a pretty cheap hobby tool.

I've often wondered if Festool's popularity would be where it is if it wasn't for their exposure on "This Old House".

I have a few Festools, 2 sanders, vac, track saw and domino.  I have no regrets. After sales support is reported to be fantastic. I don't know that personally because over the past 11 years I've never had a reason to use it. I wish I could say that about my Felder equipment.
