March 24, 201214 yr Here is some good shop music to listen 2 while restorin old machinery or whatever shop work you're doin........ Some of you might like this guy's music. I like it for a change of pace from good old Rock and Roll plus he builds some of his instruments. In this day of cultured perfection where everyone demands the fastest cars, best football team, perfect tonal quality in a singer, and so on a good friend of mine Jason Withrow sent me a youtube video of a guy he likes and after listening to the video I also liked the raw presentation of a true Blues artist. Seasick Steve who just turned 70 years of age is a breath of fresh air of raw talent ......... he went for most of his life just bouncin about "undiscovered" mostly in the southern part of the US, but over the last few years he moved overseas for a while with his wife who is a nurse originally from Norway and his music is going nuts overseas. I did a bit of research and he is the real deal ........ he spent time as a hobo early on in his life, worked most of his life as a manual laborer, and the list goes on. Who do you think Seasick Steve looks like if he was several decades younger?
