April 1, 201214 yr comment_31585 I'll get a review out in the next week folks, but I just wanted to boast a little. This was by far the best investment I have done in years for our shop.1. Noise is greatly reduced "No Load"2. Noise is greatly reduced "Under Load"I cannot believe how quiet my DeWalt 735 is now. This planer used to howl when I'd fire it up. Not now, you can barely hear it outdoors with my shop closed up. And even with one shop door open, it's no louder then a sander from outside.I am jazzed, and my wife and kids are jazzed too. No more noise telegraphing through the walls of the garage to the home like it did before. The cut, I have not sat down and trouble shooted the ridges yet. But I know once I take the time and reset the cutters that need it, it'll work fine, the ridges are barely visible, but I am expecting perfection in the cut so I just need to sit down and follow the steps in the trouble shooting section. I'll do that before I do the write up.Thanks for hearing my bragging!John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops Report
April 2, 201214 yr comment_31593 Sounds like a quieter, more efficient machine, that combined with a happier family. Wow John that is the best of both worlds. No greater Loves than God, Family, Friends, country, the sight of flying chips and the smell of saw dust. Report
April 2, 201214 yr comment_31592 Sounds like a winner, John. It'll be interesting to find the culprit cutters.  Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton Report
