Here we go a new week and a new month. Hope everybody had a great weekend. I got a lot accomplished this past week for a change. I finished up a bunch of mini birdhouses, and started on some more, finished 2 puzzles that I cut a couple weeks ago, cut three more puzzles, got the finish on two of them, the third will get finished tomorrow, whew it's been a busy week. Mike Dillen posted a beautiful ribbon box that he made, be sure to check out his post on it if you haven't already. Here's a few pictures for everybody to gander at.

A few birdhouses, I used all pine on these since they were getting a paint job.

These I used pine for the house and teak for the roofs and sapele for the birds.

Thanks Fred. What've you been up to besides trying to stay cool, it hit about 87 yesterday and supposed to be low 90's today, too early for all this heat. 18.gif18.gif

My shop is surrounded on three sides by poured concrete walls up against dirt (kind of like a basement).  Stays pretty cool in there most of the summer.  Guess that's why I spend a lot of time in my shop.  Grin.gif

John, it's amazing how work we can all turn out when the deadline is right around the corner110.gif . Those bird houses are a quick project, maybe 15 minutes to drill and cut, a little sanding and some glue. The most time consuming part is waiting on the paint to dry on those that I painted. Hopefully these will sell well 63.gif, I got 40 of them cut 18.gif
