April 6, 201214 yr  WOW!  I don't get a lot of these.    A box, that came from Georgia, arrived on my front porch.   It about wore the poor mailman out!     Inside was three pieces of "iron".    Ok, and a couple pieces of wood, and a bit of Brass.   So, a little "eye candy", anyone? a close-up and another such shotNothing stamped in the "square"?   This was a Buck Brothers 14" Jack plane. Another look:From the side.  I not so about the adjustor wheel, as yet. Soft metal, Al. , maybe? Another lookseeA better look at the wheel.   Tote looks "different" from a Stanley #5. Backend looks more like an "English" Record style plane. Ok, one last look...At the sole of it all.   Just a jack Plane.   $10 + shipping ( and a winded Mail Carrier) 'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
