April 21, 201214 yr  While out doing the "Yard sale Tour" this morning, found an indoor Flea market ( Yippee) and found a little "Rust Bucket" of a plane. on the blade was stamped MOHAWK Made in USA   SHELBURNE Just a little fella, less than 7" long, by a hair under 2" wide.  The iron is 1-5/8" wide.   Has a funny adjustor wheel under that capAnd, yes, that IS red paint showing there.  A 'four-holer' of a wheel?  Got the sides cleaned up a bit, and worked on the sole aLOTYeah, I know, the iron needs some work too.   The base is getting cleaned up as well You should have seen it awhile ago, even had a spider nest.   Going to give this a good soaking, and a refinish. i don't know about that red paint, though.... Spent a whole dollar on this little guy..... 'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
April 21, 201214 yr Author  Going to need a knob turned for this liitle guy.   That post is "threaded' for lack of a better term. Might just epoxy a knob on and call it good?   High Knob, or an onion shaped LOW KNOB??? Ok, how about a side view?On the other side, where that rod comes through the side wall, there is a slot for a screwdriver.  Black paint over most of this plane, with a red paint on the cap???   Still don't know about that red colour....
