Didn't he put his name on a bunch of cabinet clamps made by someone?

Or maybe it was the screwdriver that he put his name on...24.gif

Some of his show are interesting. He is a pocket screw kind of guy.

He put his name on some cabinet clamps (I'll have to check the maker) but they are absolute crud, lol.

His show is filmed/taped/recorded ( whatever) about oh, FIVE miles from my house!  I can drive past his place.    sitting about halfway between Sidney and Piqua, Ohio, just south of the Lockington Dam.

Scott Phillips has a different build style then some, his style fits many woodworkers out there today. He is a proud supporter of Woodcraft as well. What more can we ask for!Grin.gif

I've seen a few of his shows and they're OK. The best one I''ve seen over the last few years is the Wood Smith Shop. Good projects and they have good tips as well as take you through the major points and techniques to a completed project.

The one show I absolutely can not watch is the one with Tommy McDonald. He makes some nice projects but I don't care for the road trips or his delivery.

I like a lot of the projects Scott does, They are something a lot of people can do. I always look for ideas and you can easily change the joinery to fit what you like to use.

He is certainly a master with a bandsaw. I have watched many of the items he makes and the way he works a bandsaw is pretty good.

I thought he was a turner.

Gotta watch out for turners.  They don't do things straight.

I always thought turners had no choice but to do things straight but they always seem to be spinning in one place turning circles.Grin.gif

I for one enjoy his show, as well as Wood Smith Shop and Roy Underhill's Woodwright's Shop. Around here PBS and Create channels are our friends.lol
