So What Do I Do With It?

Featured Replies

I just bought about 500 pieces of 4/4 cherry that are 3" wide and 30" lond.  Any ideas on what to make with it?  I just had to but it at 40 cents a BF.

Give me some ideas gang.

Edge glue them and make shaker end tables. Dipping bread boards or cheese boards. Glue up and make scroll saw trivets.

That's enough for one weekend

Clearly you mad a bad call.

I can help you out though.  For the cost of my gas I'll come over and relieve you of this burden no charge.

Cherry might not be the  best choice for cutting boards because it is a relatively soft wood and would take a beating.

But it makes  for lovely cabinets, tables, chairs,  Ever done a rocker?

You could always ship some my way. I'll even pay the postage. Grin.gif

Boxes & all of the above

I just keep hammering away.

Some tables, jewelry boxes, keep sake boxes, and flag cases maybe. I love the smell of cherry when I work with it. But then, if you have too much, I would gladly accept a donation Grin.gif.

God bless and protect our troops that serve so we can be free.

It'd be great for the mini birdhouses and pet angels I make 3.gif3.gif hint hint. Sounds like a good time to buy a scroll saw 113.gif
