April 30, 201214 yr MikeLooks awesome. Strong enough to work, easy enough to put away when not needed. Wish I had a setup similar but my space and area dictates a dedicated station. Thanks for sharing.Wayne MahlerGod bless and protect our troops that serve so we can be free.
April 30, 201214 yr This turned out fantastic! Very professional looking. I really need to rebuild mine but my little Hitachi sliding miter is going to need replacing before long. Probably just wait until then.Lew Kauffman-Wood Turners Forum HostTime traveler. Purveyor of the world's finest custom rolling pins!
April 30, 201214 yr Wow! Mike that was a lot of work! I have question for you. How much time did it take to get all the track and clamps and toggles in place just right? That seems like some diligent work was involved in that part of the process.John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops
April 30, 201214 yr Author Thanks Guys!John from start to finish it took me 4 days to construct. The tracks, clamps took about 12 hours. Not too bad all in all. I could have done it sooner if I would've had a hole week end off.
