May 7, 201214 yr  today is a nice bright, and sunny day.  What better than to work out on the Back Porch Bench System?   I had a few saws that neede some sort of finish on them.    So, off we went:THIS is the view I get from the Bench Top.   I had to use a special "Drying Rack" to hold some of these saws, while they were drying:This is the "older" version, the mark II can hold three saws!    The one "upright" saw is the Sycamore handled rip saw, with a WS&M Co. Medallion.  The one leaning towards me, is a Sycamore Crosscut saw, with a W.S. Medallion.   The "lazy one" in the background is a George H. Bishop P80 panel saw.   Some others also joined the Porch party:A W.S. #7 ( or, #76?) With a few extra numbers on the handle.  This one just got a clear finish, and needs a buffing out.  The Other lay-about saw? An atkins "Perfection" saw.   Yes, it is laying down, BUT, remember, this saw used to work ( Work???) for the state highway department.   Again, just a clear finish.  As for me, i think i'll go out front, and enjoy the view...Papa Johns is just across the street.   life is good..... May 8, 201214 yr Author  Well, there were a few such items left here in town, but she wants too much for them.... I have found another store, though, about 10 miles ( or so) away.   Too far to walk, though.   A flea market or two on the way, and another about 25 miles away.   Kind of in the middle of things here.  'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
