 seems I have a problem.     The one #3 turned out to be a #4.     NOW, I have three number four smoothers!     I still have a #3, with a smooth sole.    I THOUGHT I had a #3 with a grooved sole, but tuns out it is a Union #4G.   NOW, I'll just have to go out looking for another rusty #3....



As for those three Number fours, I'll keep the union plane, and a Stanley #1204, since both are well tuned up.   The third one is from Great neck.    Getting a bit worn out, so it might be a parts plane.   I'll part it out to help some of the other planes on hand.
