This website is new so it doesn't have much to it yet but you are welcome to take a look :)

Cleaning up the saw dust and scrapes. Keep putting it off but when I had a hard time finding a spot for my coffee cup, I know it's time! Grin.gif

Well, the 3 grand-daughters are spending the night so sleep is totally out of the question.  Tomorrow afternoon I'll stain the oak trash recepticle I've been building.  In between times I'll be watching the Indy 500 qualifying.  Sunday, after church I'll put the 1st coat of finish on the recepticle and more qualifying.  In case you wondered, next Sunday I'll be communing with 500,000 of my closest friends in Indianapolis.  If you watch the race I'll wave at you.  I'm sitting just underneath the 3rd turn camera.  In fact, I've often chatted with the cameraman before the race.

working today to finish a cedar fence that im building for a couple, maybe put up some drywall in one of our bedrooms, hopoefully going to look at some hot water modines for my shop

Couldn't sleep. Got up at 03:30 and was in the shop at 04:00. These darned Lotus flower BSBs are turning out to be a real challenge. I usually use the Oscillating drum sander to smooth the inside curves and get rid of the saw marks. Can't do that cause most of the curves are less than 1/2" apart. Had to split a dowel and glue sand paper to the curved side. LOTS of hand sanding. Gotta re design these things!!!

Taking a break now @ 10:20.

After missing last week completely due to the Mother's day stuff, I'll be back to working on some game room cabinetry....sure be glad to get these done and move on to more fun stuff!

Mostly baby sitting my wife.  She slip and fell last week and cracked the ball joint where her arm connect to the shoulder.  She had surgery  Thursday  5/17/12 where small plate and screws were put in.  She doing fine so far, but she having hard time of not being able to get up, picked up anything or even getting her clothes on of off.  It amazing how helpless someone can be with out a use of 2 arms.  I did get a few hrs in on milling lumber on  the white oak lumber for my son's desk and did managed to get more white oak from my lumber guy this week.  Also did some cutting on walnut, cherry and box elder.last week before her accident on a project I wanted to do for my wife for our anniversary but I'm  running behind on it also.   Hopefully I'll get some more work done on both next week.
