Porch Swings

Featured Replies

Well I have a project I have been working on in between my cutting boards. I am building porch swings. I have five to build and have got most of the patterns worked out on the first one and hopefully will get them going this week and weekend.

I forgot to take pictures of the arms and supports, but I will do that tonight and post them later.

Last night in the shop was working on slats. I have cut them 1 1/2" wide and will take them down to 1/2 thickness.

Good "production line" type project!

White oak is going to make some beautiful and sturdy swings.
