A project for the birds

Featured Replies

My wife saw something similar in a magazine and wanted me to make a couple for her and a couple for our daughter. I picked up some 6" cedar fence slats and took it from there. They are more ornamental than practical, The hole is too low for most birds, they like a deep place to build their nest. The ones with the dark beard are my design..ning-birdhousefaces-28672-22.jpg?width=7

Ron, those look great.  They'll get some looks out in your yard.

Ron those are very stylish man! Cedar fencing is some of the most inexpensive wood out there and it makes great yard projects like this!  Great job sir! I like the darker beards more, sharper and more defined.

I am partial to the dark ones also. Anyway you look at it, functional and entertaining for the people and birds. Great job.
