Do not know where the picture came from. But this tool box and tools could fill my hand tool dreams.ning-toolbox-28351-53.jpg

No greater Loves than God, Family, Friends, country, the sight of flying chips and the smell of saw dust.

That would be the famous tool chest of Duncan Phyfe.

I take that back. Not Duncan Phyfe. Can't recall who's that is but I recognize it for sure. Am sure someone around here could tell you.

"This tool chest are made by Henry O. Studley (1838-1925) who was an organ and piano maker, carpenter, and stonemason in Quincy , Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States.
When closed and hanging on a wall it takes up an area of approximately 99cm X 51cm X 23cm and it contains 300-plus tools."

That's awesome. I had just seen that picture earlier today, and was going to make it my background on my tablet. It really is amazing. I guess he didn't change tools very often with how tight the tolerances are between all the tools.

Thanks for posting that picture.

Russell,

Wow! My dream chest and set of hand tools. They are too beautiful to use. I wouldn't mind to have one as a collection.
