June 15, 201214 yr  Was waiting on a sniper to steal a plane from me today.    Got down to the last few seconds.......3...2..1... no sniper?    Dang it, now I have to pay for a SECOND #6 handplane...  handplane #1)   A number 6 sized, grooved bottom plane by Diamond Edge.    Seems there was a hardware store out in St. Louis that sold that brand name of tools.  This one has a hard rubber tote as well.. Handplane#2)  Another #6 sized plane.  This one is a Stanley/Bailey smooth bottomed #6  A little newer than the other #6.   Even had wood totes. Handplane #3) A Stanley #120 Block plane.   iron dull, rusty base, broken cap.  No other defects though, should clean up nicely.  Now, about that broken cap.   Found one for sale that wasn't broke, so it is on the way as well.  Looks like I'm needing a lot of de-ruster, 'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
June 15, 201214 yr wow sounds like you have got the plane's coming in. You may need an air traffic controller if you keep it up. John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com

June 16, 201214 yr Author  handplane #3, and #4 just set down.  Went out Garage sale-ing this morning.  Picked up a couple block planes.  Also picked up, a saw set, a saw jointer, an old wood handled flat-bladed screwdriver, and a Millers falls 60A.  These four items cost a whole one dollar.    The M-F 60A is a LARGE Yankee style screwdriver.    Without a spot of rust on it, I might add. Hmmm, no rust?   takes all the fun out of it, don't it? 'and may the road raise up to meet ye'
