Hi all my name is Rob AKA Joe Rebuild on FB and some other sites. My wife and I are hopelessly addicted to wood. We mill, dry, sell and build from local urban harvest trees in FL. Thanks, Looks like a great site with a great cause too. I see you build instruments. My wife dabbles a bit too and built a harp. Me I am more of a table/bench builder. Oh I will inundate you all with pictures if i can get away with it

We are all addicts, here. No 12 step programs for woodaholics, though.

 

Thank you all for the warm welcome. We are a starving start-up working hard and chasing a dream. I have been told the only treatment is more wood. We run a Lucas for the big slabs and a WM LT40. neither of which are ours. The Lucas belongs to Paula from dustbeegone.com and the LT 40 belongs to a local shipwright. We do have a small CSM for the shorter logs that will not fit on the mill.
