July 2, 201214 yr Good Monday afternoon everybody, hope everybody had a great weekend. Hopefully none of you were in the path of those storms Fri. night, that still have a lot of people out of electricity. Sat. we were set up at a the farmers market usual, even with a water slide for the kids it was sloooooooow but by 10:30 am it was 102 We had a good variety of vendors there but nobody really did much. On a good note I got the parts for my saw Thursday so despite it being 105+ w/ a heat index of 116 I got it back together yesterday, but ran out of time to do anything because we went to this event last night We thouroghly enjoyed this concert, and the Commanding General that is listed as a speaker on here just happens to be the son of the General whom the Abrams tank is named after. I had plans for cutting some stuff last night but about 30 min. after we got home from the concert we had one heck of a storm blow through and the power was out for about 8 hours . We still have 20,000 plus in our area that are out. So all that being said let's hear what all the other scrollers have been up too GregScroll Saw forum hosthttp://www.thesawdustfactoryga.com/
July 2, 201214 yr Nothing off the saw this weekend ! ! ! ! ! Â Had a show in Cullowee, NC at the Western Carolina University. Â Average attendance between 5,000 and 8,000. Â This weekend, all the newscasters up thatta way told everyone to stay indoors because of the 110+ heat index. Â Only had a little over 1,000 through the gate for both days. Â Dissapointing, you bet. Â Expenses were more than what we took in. Â (Expenses included replacing a destroyed rv trailer tire and my wife's shopping spree.) Â Best part of the weekend, we had an inside booth - a balmy 80 degrees - had to go outside to warm up at times.Hope y'all did better.Fredaka Pop's Shopwww.pops-shop.comEX-21'Soooooo many patterns - sooooo little time'
