San Diego Fine Woodworking Exhibition 2012 San Diego Country Fair

Featured Replies

Last weekend me and the family took a trip into San Diego and hung out all day at the County Fair!  We saw monster trucks, farm animals, did the rides, and took a stroll through the San Diego Fine Woodworking Exhibit, the exhibit was local artisans, they submitted their entries to be judged and ribbons were awarded.

We ate too many corn dogs, drank too much soda, and did too many rides, but it was great fun, I  hope you enjoy our photo montage of the woodworking exhibit.

I would like to thank my cousin Andy and his wife Kathy and their son David for providing us the tickets, and the fun, thank you cousin!!!

It was fun Charles, great stuff, I could have spent more time at the exhibit, but the family was getting little impatient shall we say. So we moved on to the important stuff like Ferris Wheel riding and corn dogs!

I love the work there.

Impressive work displayed there. Some Krenov, Maloof and Molsby influences. And, some clearly that came from the woodworker's own visions. A couple appeared to be substance(?) induced influences.Grin.gif

Thanks for sharing, and thank the kids for their patience with dad's passions.

Right on Gene! Yep, some induced design for sure! That was funny, it is the Left Coast after all and by the beach. Our kids are the best, they have the patience of Joab!
