July 20, 201213 yr My pal sent me some more pics of his operation up in the sticks and backwoods of Anza CA. He has been busy milling some Pecan for a project coming up. OK, so you though you got wood! Now this guy gots wood!!! As a matter of fact, 30,000 bdft of it! Nice going man!! The man pushing that log through the mill is his long time employee and all around great dude. I'll have to ask him what type and size of mill he is using. I have been up to his place a few times now and it is always a treat. Where is Waldo! In the wood! Some of you guys might recognize this gentleman, he used to be on here till he got big and busy!!! Thanks for the pics and don't work too hard! John Morris The Patriot Woodworker Proud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops

July 21, 201213 yr One of these days when I get caught up I will have to give him a call and make a trip out there to see his operation. I am sure I can find something to put in the bed of the truck to take home. If I take my wife I might have to make 2 trips because once she sees some pretty wood she suddenly has projects for me to do for her. But being in Anza I will have to make sure I got a full tank. I went to Anza once about 8-10 years ago on a home appraisal job on a manufactured home and I was so far out in the sticks and weeds on twisty dirt roads that I was very concerned about making it back to a gas station.
