July 30, 201213 yr Here it is the end of the month, it's been a long hot month here, glad it's coming to an end. Luckily it rained most of yesterday afternoon so I got to skip out on cutting grass , the bad part of that is it needed it real bad and next Sunday it will be twice as tall oh we really are thankful for the rain. any on to scroll sawing, that's what we're here to talk about right. I actually had a productive day yesterday. This light house is a pattern from The Berry Basket, looking at the pattern I really liked it, but now that it's together I'm not so sure, we'll see when I get the danish oil on it this afternoon. I used 1/4" BB  and 1/4" cherry. I cut and sanded 72 of these, stacked 2 12x12 sheets of 1/8" BB ply together. I'll spray paint these, mostly pink. I made a couple of these for the wife too. These are dispalys for necklaces. She saw some at Hobby Lobby and asked me to look at them, which is usually a hint for me to make something, so I bought one for $1.99 to use as a template. I'm going to make a couple larger ones too. And I finished cutting 2 of these Masonic plaques, I need to get the danish oil on the front and paint the backer blue. This pattern is by sue Mey and I used 1/4" red oak ply and 1/4" BB . I cut a couple of Masonic wall clocks also, I just need to get them put together this week. Now that I've hogged the airwaves long enough what did everybody else do? GregScroll Saw forum hosthttp://www.thesawdustfactoryga.com/

August 3, 201213 yr glad I finally found this, great work there Greg. Yea it's been rather hot here too, reaching 105-112 for most of the month of July. The worst part is that we haven't had a decent rain for 2 months until yesterday. We finally got enough rain to get the ground wet and it actually came in the early morning so it had a chance to sink in instead of boiling off.Charles NichollsSite Hostnicholls61@att.netProud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project and the NRA
August 4, 201213 yr Author we've been getting rain pretty regular this week finally, and it's suppose to drop back into the high 80's next week, which suits me just fine. It dropped to 66 last night Charles Nicholls said: glad I finally found this, great work there Greg. Yea it's been rather hot here too, reaching 105-112 for most of the month of July.
