August 10, 201213 yr Great post! Heres another way to do it if you cant do it as above. Yep it's the little white table, and for size comparison, that's the full size lathe table next to it that is now used for the grinder and the wood rack. So if you are wheelchair bound and want to get into turning, don't let the oversized wrongly made table (for wheelchair users) get you discouraged, because there is ways of getting around it. August 10, 201213 yr My hat goes out to both of you. What a great way to change the "norm" to work for you. Terry did you have plans or did you do that on your own? Either way it really works. I could see you making a tool rack on either side to hold your turning tools.Â
August 10, 201213 yr Actually my stand was made by our very own Wayne Mahler. i hope you don't mind me saying that Wayne. I desperately needed a stand that was much lower to the ground than the normal stand and he stepped up and did the job. Quite nicely I might add  Doug Morgan said: My hat goes out to both of you. What a great way to change the "norm" to work for you. Terry did you have plans or did you do that on your own? Either way it really works. I could see you making a tool rack on either side to hold your turning tools.Â
