I support Woodcraft as it is I buy pen kits and wood from them when I can. I'll just add EWT to the list, and I am more than happy to do so

what a great writing on our little site can we say Growth spurt? I think one is coming, so as my dad used to say, "Hang on to your derby's boys and girls!"

That's awesome John!

Ok I would like to ask a question about the annual Turn for troops drive.

Do we have to go to a WoodCraft store to make the pen and submit it, or can we just turn them from our shop and send it in? Also, where do we send the pens to if we can do them on our own?

I didn't see it stated in the rules, but does it have to be a current turning? I would hope so. 

Hi Mike for the WoodCraft TPW turning contest, it can be anything within the last 2 years

"Head to the woodshop, fire up those lathes and get your turnings entered via photo email entry before the October 1st entry deadline!
All turning categories are entry eligible: Pens, bowls, vessels, hats, you name it, the more creative the better! Any turnings you have created in the last two years is eligible for entry. There is no limit to how many entries per person. One winner will be chosen for the grand prize."
