Building a jig

Featured Replies

ning-pointedpostsjig-24914-93.jpgWell after trying my RAS, 12 chopsaw I finally made a jig for the tablesaw. To tell the truth I rebuild the jig 3 times before I got it right but I persevered.

If it doesn't spark it doesn't concern me!!!

Alright Pat!!!! Looks great and I'd say you accomplished your objective with flying colors!  Now, if we may know, what is the overall scope of the project?

Hey Pat, I really love the image of the birdhouse you put up from your source. I think those are a great example to aspire too.

My Dad recently started building bird houses and this is what he came up with, here is a link to my woodworking site Courtland Woodworks, Here is the link to Dads Birdhomes

Just in case you needed some more inspiration! :)

That's a cool jig, Pat. Lots of T&E, I'll bet. At least it would be for me. Geometry, beyond square in one plane, is above my pay grade.

John,

Nice Birdhouses your Dad builds!

Around here the birds are only temporary residents, they pack their bags and head south for the winter.

Thanks Larry, he's trying to break into the bridhouse market, he'll start knocking on the doors of his mountains local gift shops to sell them.

Well,  I'm usually a live and let live sort of fellow, but  Vampires are such a problem around here that I can't help but approve.

Happy hunting.
