August 31, 201213 yr If you all remember, Rob Durfos from Tule Peak had a brush with a wild fire a couple weeks ago. We sent him our thoughts here on The Patriot Woodworker and it looks like he and his workers are back at it! He sent me some wonderful pics of his latest work. Â The Sculpted Medicine Cabinet The Start of a big table Live Oak Slab Table Top And the door! This is the new door to the entrance of his shop/showroom. I remember this door when I was up at his place last, it was leaning against one of his woodsheds awaiting the hang man, and it looks like it got hung! The gent in the photo below is his long time employee Ray. Ray has helped me load up my truck with lumber in the past and he is just one heck of a great laid back dude. There ya have it, looks like the fires can't keep a good man down!!!!! John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops
