Good to know for those Dewalt owners out there. I bought one of their cordless drills 4 or 5 years ago and after about 10 days the charger started blowing smoke signals, which I figured to be abnormal behavior. Took it back to Lowes and of course it was one that was on clearance and they did'nt have anymore, so I ended up with a 18v Hitachi w/ lithium ion batts, and I'd fight ya over it, it's really impressed me.
