September 6, 201213 yr My space saving, labor saving and cleaner HF DC mod. We live waaaay out in the boonies. So, blowing dust outside is no problem. There's a trash can separator ahead of the DC and hardly any dust goes outside, anyhow. September 11, 201213 yr Author  A couple more lost souls showed up at the Back Porch Bench today.     One I hadn't seen since High School...And, to think I TURNED, threaded, and tapped this?   Back about '68-69 era.   Since the Rockwell factory that made those old lathes was only 12 miles or so down the road, maybe I turned these parts on one?   In Industrial Arts Class?    Where is a class like that nowadays?    Also showing up was a square kind of guy...Both of these guys were just collecting rust in a drawer of my late-Dad's tool box.    Looking a might sad, so I brought them home to restore.    Just to use, not resell.     Also coming along for the ride...3/8" drive craftsman ratchet.   I think it is a "flex-handle'.    Just a "V" for a model number.   Got all three cleaned up...Got these two nice and shiny.  That square? Made in USA!  defiance by Stanley.   Model #1221.   Never had the level installed on it, either.  Cleaned up real nice.  Hey, sometimes, I do other things besides planes....
