We had a slow weekend at the market, just not much traffic there, but did get a couple orders . I did get a couple more small cars made, and some more ornaments. Cut a bunch of grass too, some of my yard was looking like a jungle. Sheila Landry sent out her latest newsletter last week, and had a link to a free pattern she has posted, http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/free-pattern while you're there check out her newest patterns and sale items. What's everybody else been up to ?

Greg my First Friday was a bit slow also. I think it was just hot and humid and not many people wanted to stop and do a lot of looking. I did meet some very interesting people though and I always have a good time just getting to talk to those that will stop.

My weekend was slow as well - actually boring - hoping to get back to the shop tomorrow.

John, I think it's that time of year.  When I was running my own forum, it was always slow after Labor Day and lasted for a couple of months.  Spent a lot of time dreaming up topics and answering them myself.

Which reminds me - at my tender age, I have come to the conclusion that it IS ok to talk to yourself.

It is also ok to ANSWER yourself (because that seems to be the only time I get an inteligent answer).

Where I have to draw the line is saying "HUH?" to myself.....   vahidrk.gif

John, I don't where the folks were around here, because there wasn't anything else going around here. I enjoy talking to the folks too, and if you're not there some of them will never see what you have to offer.

Yep it's time for a lot of the holiday craft shows to start cranking up so everybody that's been lazy all summer is scrambling to get ready for them, including me. Actually I've got a good bit of holiday stuff ready, but I just put a lot of stuff in a crafts consignment store in another town about 30 miles away to try and tap into another market.

Yes she is, every time she sends out a newsletter she has some type of free pattern in it.
