September 13, 201213 yr A great friend of mine and a woodworking buddy built this boat some years back. After my dad passed away a few weeks ago, they took my wife and out for a evening on the boat to just get away from things for a few a little while. It took him 16 years to build the boat and he all the wooden parts of the boat. The wood on the out side it coated with epoxy. The lower back deck and entrance to the living room and sleeping quarters. Upper covered deck and entrance to the dinning room and galley. A hot of the dinning and galley. All the cabinets and furniture he built with the exception of the chairs. All of the cabinets and table are teak, with maple and paduk accents. A look from the pilot house. Another view as we were pulling out of the dock. And a couple more shots in the pilot house. We had a great relaxing evening. Pulled into a cove on the Tennessee River, dropped anchor, put the steaks on the grill and enjoy a nice time out on the deck. Some of the shot show some of the great woodworking on all of the cabinets and other parts of the boat. One really has to go aboard to see first hand his wonderful woodworking and appreciate it. I didn't get enough pictures to show you all of the inlay work and special touches he added to his project. Thanks Ron B. for a great evening out! September 13, 201213 yr It is truly a beautiful boat and the pictures don't do it justice. John didn't mention that on the upper deck there is a kalliope that syncs up with his laptop. Ron also built it. Ron DudelstonSite AdministratorAbove and Beyond WoodWorks
