John Morris and his team have given us a place to talk with people, who like us enjoy woodworking. So take advantage of this site, ask questions (the only dumb question is one that is not asked), give input (you might just help some one solve a problem).

Take a look at the photo gallery, you might just find the inspiration to start a project.

Most of all take a good look at all the knowledge that is written with in these discussions and blogs. You may find the answer to a problem you have been trying to figure. Take a look at the photo gallery, you might just find the inspiration to start a project.

No greater Loves than God, Family, Friends, country, the sight of flying chips and the smell of saw dust.

Russell I somethings think one of the things people skip over and don't see is the photo gallery. There are some very nice pieces displayed there. We have a wealth of talent on here. Many of you have posted pictures of your work and never say anything in the forums. I know by the looks of the pieces over there you are very fine woodworkers.

Please jump in and share a project. What inspired you to build it. What did you learn from the project. Did you use any skills you have never done before. Those would be great discussion in the forums when you post a picture to tell us about the project and what you went through in building it.

Come on don't be bashful, we are all just woodworkers here.

Just joined!  I'm a retired EOD tech, and a "sort of" retired woodworker.  I currently am doing a lot of segmented turnings (both open and closed).

I also do antique furniture restorations if someone bring interesting challenges to my shop...

Welcome Larry!!! It's great to have ya aboard sir and I hope you keep coming back here and jump in the fray, help us help our troops! Thanks for joining Larry!!!
