Wednesday's Wisdom For Woodturners Sep 20, 2012

Featured Replies

Well it has been non-stop traveling, group gatherings and house guests for the last week. The final house guest left an hour ago. Needless to say, I haven't seen the shop in all that time. To compound matters, the phone just rang and I will be working as the network administrator, at my school, until they can find a permanent replacement for the one that just quit.

I know all of you get up early on Wednesdays just to read this discussion ;^) but these posts may be late or non-existent for a while- sorry. Maybe one of the other members can take over until I get some free time.

One of these days, I'm going to try and find out what retirement is really like!

The only "Wisdom" I can offer this time is an email from Fine Woodworking. They have a couple new DVDs, on turning, from Jimmy Clewes. I haven't seen them but it looks like they may be interesting.

Thanks, Mike, I'm going to need it! My background is in computer hardware. The guy who left never made a policies/procedures manual. Don't even know all of the passwords.
