September 27, 201213 yr These are the two planes a Mailman brought to my doorstep a few days ago;this is the "Before" and now for the "After" shotsCleaned up, black paint restored, and BLO on the non-painted handles. Â One more look?A "SAVAGE #6" ( made by Ohio Tool Co.) Â and a Sargent #110 sized Block plane. Â BLO costs almost as much as these two planes did. September 27, 201213 yr Author Forgot the "Money Shots".   Took both of these out to the Poplar Test Track:the #6 at work on the edge grain.  For some reason, the curls spin to the Left.   Must be a Liberial PlaneAnd the Red-nosed Block plane.  Doing some "Face time".    I think this MIGHT be a Sargent made plane.   Again with them left leaning curls.    Sign on pick up truck's back window..:' Save a Horse, ride a Cowboy'
