Starting the month off on a Monday what's up with that. Fall is in the air even here in SE Ga. That means everybody should be starting to work on Christmas project, so what's everybody working on? We had a decent day at the market Sat., sold a few things and picked up 4 orders. I worked on a few things yesterday. Looks like I might have another job too, in our town we have a city park on the one main road through town, where on any patriotic holiday crosses and flags are displayed. The families of deceased veterans purchase the crosses and flags for $100, through the American Legion auxillary. That price includes lifetime maintaince of the the cross and repalcemnt of the flag. The boy scouts place and remove the flags. Anyway the man that makes the crosses is a Vet, WWII or Korea, I don't remember which, anyway he's getting up in the years and is in need of help. I've met him several times over the years at various legion functions, but never really known him well. We saw his wife at a Church function a couple months ago, and she was telling us they needed help with the crosses. So I said I'd be interested in helping, we just haven't been able to get together until now. I'm going to meet with them in the morning and see how he does them. She said they have some that need to be finished before Veterans day, which is right around the corner. I am anticipating taking this task over myself completely when he passes, since he is the only one doing them that I know of. And it pays better than any other project can, you get paid in the fact that you have helped honor a service member, that's as good as any paycheck in my book.  Here's the only pic I've got of them.

What no Alabama "A"?

Sounds like a nice project helping with the crosses Greg. That in its self will be a blessing. Looks like you have some nice projects to begin the week with.

Nope John, we're deep in bulldog territory here, even though the county I live in is home to Georgia Souther University, which has close to 22,000 students, I'll sell these twice as fast as GSU stuff. You're right about the crosses, I feel like i need to help him out and plan on taking it over, so that when he passes there will be somebody to keep it going.
