"Back From The Archives"

 

Hi,

 

Neighbor across the highway was  having a rummage sale today, so I walked accross the highway.

This is what I found.

Complete with bulb, but missing mounting bracket, and heat shield.

How about that, the bulb works!

 

Oh well, I guess I paid too much.........................................

Great find - other than the bracket, the other thing missing is the cloth power cord.

It was sitting in a box of lamp/light parts that the neighbor said was in the garage when they bought the house about three years ago.

 

This was the third rummage sale they had this year, and the first time I decided to walk accross the highway to take a look.

 

They have roughly three rummage sales a year, so this has been sitting accross the highway all this time.

 

I suppose I should have introduced myself but there were a lot of people looking, I doubt he knew I was the nut from accross the highway.

 

BTW I was lucky he said $2.00, I had to pay with pocket change.
