October 7, 201213 yr I been waiting on this years episodes of Woodsmith Shop to come back on TV. Today it finally came on. I've found this show to be one of the best shows for the wood working craft. They always have wounder full projects and a website that has lots of helpful tips and solutions for the wood worker. The website also has free plans for all of their projects seen on the show and you can download them any time you need.I've built many projects from their show and found the plans to be accurate, easy to follow. The show today concentrated on work benches of which I built one awhile ago and it's been great. October 7, 201213 yr Those shows (WS shop, Rough Cut, and some of the others) generally show up on my station the first of Oct. They must be delayed this year, they haven't started yet around me. The stations seem to have their individual priorities, and for mine the WW'ing shows aren't considered a priority (IMHO).
October 7, 201213 yr Author Years ago there used to be a couple of wood working shows that were on one of the satellite channels that originated in Canada. They covered a wide range of wood working projects. I would think the DIY channel would have some but even that channel seems to focus too much on house projects run by hack contractors. Oh well I guess it's PBS or nothing.www.thepatriotwoodworker.com Proud Supporter of Homes For Our Troops
October 8, 201213 yr I got all excited when I saw your post so I checked the public TV schedule for Alabama it wasn't listed yet in our programming. I think they get tired of me sending them emails wanted programs. I guess if I would send them lots of money they would listen.John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
