October 17, 201213 yr A couple of weeks ago I was asked to build a stand for the upcoming Advent season dedicated to the Advent wreath and candles. The Moody clan went to church with us on Sunday and he presented me with an beautiful idea for a stand but I was asked to keep the stand similar to the bible stand that is on the platform now. I did manage to incorporate John's idea for the top which would accent the candles on the outside of the wreath with an elevated center Christ candle. Since the stand would only be used one month out of the year I elected to make a convertable top so that it could also be used as a lectern. Without further adieu, here are the pictures.   Advent Stand  Lectern Ron DudelstonSite AdministratorAbove and Beyond WoodWorks

October 17, 201213 yr Ron, I know that one matches the other one we saw, but I would have like to seen one more flute in the middle that was a little longer than the two on the side.I know you were matching the other one so this one looks great.John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
