October 20, 201213 yr I'd take it in a heart beat! I believe the control over the cutting processes would be absolutely fantastic for things like acrylic, bone and of course metal pens. In addition, you could make custom pen bushings.Just my 2¢Lew Kauffman-Wood Turners Forum HostTime traveler. Purveyor of the world's finest custom rolling pins!

October 20, 201213 yr Author Lewis that's my plan, plus I can use it for making closed end pen mandrels, trim bands, kit-less pens, etc etc... and parts for jigs and odds and ends.Lewis Kauffman said:I'd take it in a heart beat! October 20, 201213 yr Author That's the one John except mine is an earlier version. Mine has the older blue paint scheme. Once I get it I'll need to inspect it, clean some surface rust off of the ways and a few other places & lubricate it. Now I just need to drive north of Seattle and pick it up. I'll probably drive up Thursday or Friday. I'll have until then to figure out where to put it when I get it home.John Morris said: Wow!!! Is this what your getting Mike?
