October 21, 201213 yr comment_22258 Having a great weekend at this festival. Â Over 100 vendors and 8,000 people through the gate today - and - folks wanted to spend money. Â Don't have pictures of the mill or the festival yet - too busy - but will upload tomorrow (Sunday). Â The mill is set on the river (duh) and the picture below is of that river. Â Tough to look at, right? Â And our booth is on a level bank of the river. Took a video of the dam that feeds water to the mill but the file is too large (128Mb). Â Will upload to my website and try it there. More pictures tomorrow. Fredaka Pop's Shopwww.pops-shop.comEX-21 (Presently on the floor. October 21, 201213 yr comment_22264 Beautiful shot, I used to canoe down a river that looked similar to this. I sometimes wish I could rewind the clock so that I could keep reliving those days.Charles NichollsSite Hostnicholls61@att.netProud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, Homes For Our Troops and the NRAhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/nichollswoodworks Report

October 22, 201213 yr Author comment_22261 Show is over - back at camp - sold my big clock with no discussion over price ! ! ! ! Â NOW I get to make a new one - yea.Of course as some of y'all know, these are long had weekends. Â Biggest problem today was a wreck on I-24 on a section we had to go. Â A turner friend of mine said that they were heading that way but it would be a 2 hour trip for that 15 miles. Â He said why not go the other way on I-24 and break bread to wait out the traffic. Â Great time - but I'm beat tonight.Good fun, great folks and made some bucks to boot.See y'allFredaka Pop's Shopwww.pops-shop.comEX-21 (Presently on the floor. October 22, 201213 yr comment_22259 Very nice display Fred and congratulations on the clock sell. It always help to sell some nice pieces. You are also right, these shows are hard. Not only the setting up and being there, but the making items to get ready for one, then break down and take it back home and store it till the next one.Glad you had a good show and thanks for the beautiful sunset shot.John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com Report
