The Phoenix was designed by Bruce Worthington at  http://intarsia.hostcentric.com/home/homepage/newpage17.htm

The eagle is from Judy Gale Roberts.  she have it is 3 sizes, but if you by the largest 4 foot wing span then you also get the 2 foot one.  http://www.intarsia.com/

other places I get patterns are

http://www.intarsiadesigns.com/  (these are downloadable and many of the patterns already have the piece separated out so MUCH sell paper used.

http://www.intarsia.co.uk/   The designer here is Danny Van Wattingen.  member here.  Up and coming designer.  he prefers more unusual items.  Located in the UK and he e-mails you the patterns.

there are several others but I havent ordered from them yet.  Also I have about a dozen pattern books.

BTW shaped 3 more last night. last clear coat drying now. Photos soon.

ok 3 more shaped and sanded last night and today

ning-christmasbunny-22245-99.jpgII used blue pine for the fur.  Reminds me of Thumper.

ning-treefrog-22245-48.jpg?width=721When I bought this pattern i had no idea he was near 18 inches long.  BIG FROGGY

ning-crosswithdogwood-22245-26.jpgCypress, Pink dogwood, Poplar, Walnut and Black locust.  Thinking of making another but adding a base so it will be free standing.

That's really nice.

You had me though. I was sure that the plural of intarsia was intarsia. But, I was mistaken, there is an s at the end.

I like the bubbly  3-D look.

Joe

Really great work. Some of these pieces I have done myself. Just love the scroll saw. Keep up the great work. Love to see it when it is done so well.

Excellent pieces of art. Love them all, can't choose one. Great combination of different kinds of wood which made each piece stands out. Keep it up!
