I just finished my grandson's  Christmas gift ..............a MYSTERY BOX.  I gathered some scraps and started to make him a bank. But he is about 10 and I figured he needed something a little more jazzed up, with mystery to it.  So I proceeded to make bank with a secret to it. The knob is a left over from another project and I wanted it to have sound, so I made a wheel with teeth and a piece of plastic to click against it. As you can see there is an opening in the wheel to allow the round screw to pass through. allowing the hinged door to open. There is a secret way to align the wheel so that it will open. I think he will like.
