I built a Toys and Joys articulated tractor once

It was fun. Used to build plastic models- biggest was Old Ironsides.

i built the backhoe for toys and joys plan. now make my model for pictures. the best model i made is the dozer form WWII pictures

this is my best model dozer made form WWII pictures. made only wood and glue . all the parts do move

I love to make models of a lot of things. I have made them of cars, furniture, and just about anything that strikes my fancy. Here are a couple that I made form pictures that I saw on the web. I scaled them up to size and then made them. It was a lot of fun. These are going to be my grandson's some day..

Welcome Ernest, I used to make wooden trucks and things back in the day. best one I think I ever made was not meant to be a riding toy. But it held a 220lb man riding it across the kitchen floor. I was not about to give a Grandson a truck that would fall a part on him.

I forgot my present project. My granddaughter has a bed that has drawers under it, doors under it and hidden spaces too. So I am making her a model of her bed so she can put her baby dolls to bed in a bed just like hers. I'll send a picture when I finish. 

Ron, that's a gorgeous car. You folks that make such detailed models have my unbridled admiration. 

I recently built this set for the grands. Not nearly the the level of craftsmanship you and Ernest display in yours.

And I had a set of plans, too!

Gene...it isn't the level but what you enjoy making.  These are nice. Hopefully one day I'll have grand kids and when I do, I'll start making toys.  I'll need your plans then!!
