November 4, 201213 yr This forum is awesome.I have not seen nor heard any negativity here on this forum at all except for a couple outlyers. It's incredible how a bunch of folks can get along so well here.I have been a member of other forums, and you cannot get away from the occasional arguments, or even daily arguments, hurtful critiques of others work (constructive critique is fine) just to be hurtful and personal attacks and more.I have been contacted by members and they have told me how they feel so comfortable here, that they can post anything they build without feeling they are going to get jumped on or criticized. In other words, we managed to create and maintain a very positive woodworking community and it's all on you folks! Great job, take a bow!John MorrisThe Patriot WoodworkerProud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops
November 4, 201213 yr Low, and from the waist.I used to visit several woodworking related forums and quit due to all the drama one encountered. Due to the quirkyness of the machine, (and the owners) I still surf over to the Shopsmith forum.  And, I enjoy Lumberjocks, too. But TPW is a haven of sanity and my home. Thanks John!Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
